Placer County: June 2, 2026 Primary Election
The Placer County Elections Office mails ballots to all active, eligible voters by May 4. If you have not received your ballot or voter information guide by May 14, contact the Elections Office at 1-800-824-8683 or visit the office at 3715 Atherton Road in Rocklin.
Ballot Drop Boxes
There are 29 official ballot drop boxes in Placer County. Boxes are accessible no later than May 5 and close promptly at 8 p.m. on June 2. Check your county voter information guide or the Placer County Elections website for specific locations.
Vote Centers
Placer County operates 30 vote centers offering in-person voting, ballot scanning, and replacement ballots.
- May 23: First 7 locations open.
- May 30: Remaining 23 locations open.
- Daily Hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Election Day (June 2): 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Elections Office will be open on Memorial Day (May 25) and the weekends of May 23-24 and May 30-31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
El Dorado County Voting

Language Assistance
Some vote centers provide translated sample ballots. You may request one by calling the office at 530-621-7480. Requests must be received no later than 7 days before Election Day. You may bring up to two people to assist you at a vote center, provided they are not representatives of your employer or union.

Registration and Status Verification
If you have interacted with the DMV recently, your voter registration information may have been changed. Confirm your registration status, address, and political party preference at the California Secretary of State website.
If you miss the registration deadline, you may access Conditional Voter Registration (CVR). You can visit the Elections Office or any vote center on or before Election Day to conditionally register and cast a ballot. Your eligibility will be assessed before the ballot is processed.
