Kings Beach State Recreation Area
Kings Beach State Recreation Area (KBSRA) is managed by California State Parks. This area includes Kings Beach Plaza, Coon Street, North Tahoe Beach, Moon Dunes Beach, Secline Beach, and Sandy Beach.
State Parks assumed full operations of these parcels in November 2014, taking over management responsibilities previously held by the North Tahoe Public Utility District. The parking lot at the North Tahoe Events Center remains open to the public. During winter months, California State Parks coordinates with the North Tahoe Public Utility District to ensure the parking lot is plowed and accessible.

The DoubleDown park is located off the Mine Train run under the Zephyr Chairlift.
