Purchasing Tickets

The Reno Rodeo Association warns against using third-party ticket outlets, which may mark up prices by as much as 400 percent. Management designates specific channels for legitimate ticket sales.

Fans have three primary options for purchasing tickets:

  1. In person: Visit the Lawlor Events Center ticket office. This method avoids service fees and handling charges.
  2. Online: Use the official Reno Rodeo website or the authorized ticket portal, mynevadatickets.com.
  3. Phone: Call 1-800-325-7328.

If performances are not sold out, tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Nevada State Fairgrounds on the day of the event.

Travel and Access

Traffic volume increases in Reno during the 10-day event. If traveling from the west, monitor I-80 road conditions for potential delays near the summit. If approaching from the north or south, check US-395 road conditions for current traffic status.

Visitors traveling from the Lake Tahoe basin should verify US-50 road conditions or SR-431 Mt Rose road conditions before departure, as these routes serve as primary corridors into the Reno area.
