Event Schedule and Logistics
Performances are held on the Warren Edward Trepp Stage. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Shows typically begin at 7:30 p.m. and conclude around 10:00 p.m., with a 15-minute intermission.
The 2026 production lineup includes:
- Macbeth: July 3 – August 23. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
- The Heart of Robin Hood: July 5 – August 21. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
Getting to Sand Harbor
Sand Harbor is approximately 40 miles from Reno. Traffic often increases on show days. Before departing, check SR-28 road conditions for the most direct route. If traveling from Reno, monitor SR-431 Mt Rose road conditions. Travelers coming from the Truckee area should check SR-267 road conditions, and those approaching from South Lake Tahoe should review US-50 road conditions.

Parking at Sand Harbor is $10 after 5:00 p.m. for festival patrons. Parking capacity is limited and often reaches maximum occupancy during peak summer months. Visitors may purchase parking vouchers online when buying tickets or pay at the gate.
