South Lake Tahoe: Stateline
The Stateline gaming district sits at 6,300 feet on the Nevada-California state line. From Reno you drive US-395 to Carson City, then US-50 over Spooner Summit, or take Kingsbury Grade (SR-207) from the Carson Valley.
Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, which operated as Harveys until July 1, 2025, provides 88,000 square feet of casino space, 742 guest rooms, and a high-limit room. Harrah's Lake Tahoe offers table games, Friday's Station steakhouse on the hotel tower's top floor, and Reflections Spa.
Bally's Lake Tahoe, previously MontBleu, features a casino floor, Topgolf Swing Suites, Ciera Steak and Chophouse, and 420-square-foot standard rooms up to 1,200-square-foot suites at 55 Highway 50.
