This camera provides a live video feed of traffic conditions at an elevation of 4,482 feet. Because this location sits significantly lower than the chain-control points at Mogul and Gold Ranch, it often captures conditions that differ from the higher elevations toward the California border. If this view shows clear or merely wet pavement while the higher cameras reveal snow or restricted traffic, it indicates that the storm level has not yet dropped to this urban section of the interstate.
