What this camera shows

Sitting at 4,158 feet, this camera provides a view from a lower elevation than the nearby stations at Nugget and Patrick. Because it sits well below the chain control points at Mogul and Gold Ranch, this area often remains clear during storms that bring snow to higher points along the route. Observing this feed helps identify if weather impacts are isolated to the higher grades or if they are descending toward the valley floor.
