Sitting at 4,259 feet, this location rests at about the same height as the camera to the east, while gaining roughly one hundred feet over the next view to the west. Far from any designated chain-control points, it operates in a transition zone across the valley floor where accumulating snowfall is less common, but where open terrain leaves the asphalt exposed to rapid temperature drops.
